Organized by Scrilla Guerillaz ent. & Magazine, the Monsta Yo brand, and Beyond Reasons Ent. this event promises to be an unforgettable experience for both performers and audience members along With celebrity judges.

How will you be judged:

The judging criteria for the competition include:
Song Creativity: Show off your originality and creativity in songwriting and composition.
Stage Presence: Capture the audience's attention with confident and dynamic performances.
Support System: Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration among performers and their supporters: Unique Style: Showcase your distinctive musical style and fashion sense that sets you apart.

1st Place Winner:

The first-place winner of the World Class Mic Showdown will receive $10,000 worth of prizes to help advance their music career. (Includes studio time at World famous VIP Records, SG Magazine Front cover, Popular blog posting, Video shoot (RED CAM) , Photoshoot and so much more)

Additionally, every performer will be interviewed by sg magazine and receive a complementary write-up and placement in the next issue of SG Magazine with an article or be featured on a blog that aligns with their music style. We believe in recognizing and supporting the talents of all participants.

How To perform:

To perform, the artist must register (link below) and sell a minimum of 10 tickets. groups , must sell 15 tickets. Solo acts will have 5 minutes to perform,while groups will have 7 minutes. (please bring music on thumbdrive) Solo acts must put down a $50 deposit and For groups a $75 deposit is required. Deposits is refunded upcon tickets sold.

Disclaimer: If the artist does not wish to sell tickets, they have the option to buy out there slot to secure there spot and do as they wish with their tickets. Fees must be turned in by April 9th.

All deposits are nonrefundable. every artist must sell 10 tickets to perform or purchase out their performance fee.

At the end of the competition, the performer with the highest overall score will be crowned the King/Queen of the event, earning the esteemed title and recognition.

The Media Coverage:

The entire event will be filmed, providing an excellent opportunity for exposure and future promotional material. The event highlights will be on youtube. You'll have the chance to showcase your talent to a wider audience.

The 20’s vs 40’s challenge is a operation we constructed to bring woman in their 20’s and in their 40’s together in a positive sense, as we discuss political views, careers goals, life challenges, love and relationships, opinions of whats most important in both age groups, cooking, family values, social media presence and more. We will interview over 40 different woman from all walks of life and choose a final 12 woman to grace the cover of issue #22 of SG Magazine, 6 in their 20’s and of course 6 in their 40’s. The process of building this project will be filmed in the form of a reality show. The show will be aired on Amazon’s SGXTV and will also be pitched to bigger networks such as VH1, BET, OWN just to name a few. We are currently excepting submissions and conducting interviews now till the end December. Must be in your 20’s or 40’s, own a business or be business orientated, positive contributor to the community, motivated/ ambitious, Confident and in good health to be consider.
